Costumes of The Cam Community in Central VietnamAttire of the CommonersThe commoners also owned special costumes that were used for official ceremonies. Nevertheless, these special attire are rather similar to their day-to-day clothing. The women folk wore long baju kurung, a sarong with headcloth khan Mathan. There are two set of baju kurung wore by the women, namely, the ordinary baju kurung and the baju kurung Kuak Kuang. Baju kurung Kuak Kuang consisted of twu to three parts of different colours. The man folks' complete attire has three to four pieces which includes a inner shirt, a shirt, belt and headgear or a shoulder scarf. |
